Do I have to?

Do I have to be called a heterosexual if I enjoy sex with men?

Do I have to be called a lesbian if I enjoy sex with women?

Do I have to be a bisexual if I want the person not the gender?

Do I have to feel powerless if I am a woman?

Do I have to be insulted if called a feminist with disdain?

Do I have to prove I'm competent every step of my way?

Do I have to be recognised by society so to be happy?

Do I have to shout every time I wanna be heard?

Do I have to surprise everyone with my intelligence?

Do I have to be a whore if I enjoy sexual intercourse?

Do I have to be a virgin or a prude to be esteemed by men?

Do I have to be a lesbian to be a feminist?

Do I have to be a feminist to be a woman?

Do I have to be ugly to want to learn as much as possible?

Do I have to be beautiful to be called a woman?

Do I have to have a penis to thrive in politics?

Do I have to be black to know how I feel enslaved?

Do I have to be white to be privileged?

Do I have to accept borders to experience the world?

Do I have to be masculine to defend myself?

Do I have to be feminine to be loved and cherised?

Do I have to be a mother to feel fullfilled?

Do I have to be a housewife to have a nice home?

Do I have to be a refugee to feel an outsider?

Do I have to have a country to be a human?

Do I have to feel guilty every time I speak the truth?

Do I have to be an alien in my body, my soul, my country, my species?

I don't.
          Do I?
                  I don't.
